  Great cafe for meetings and chai! Except... If Remedy was to keep their washrooms clean in one location only - this would be the location to do it, and it would be MUCH appreciated. There are two elementary schools one block away and it's really not very convenient to: (a) explain why and what people felt they needed to write on the walls, (b) shield my child's eyes or ask him to not look at things on the walls, (c) explain why a business would not clean up or take steps to prevent people defacing their washroom walls in the future. {Maybe you can help me answer this one...} One suggestion for helping people channel their creativity would be to put up some chalkboard wallpaper covering in that back hallway so it's in a more public area and hopefully people would keep their minds out of the gutter/washroom + it would be easier to clean up.

  Service was decent, the scone I ate was definitely old, bagel w/ cream cheese was ok but the cheese was liquidy. No greeting on time of entry. (Note breakfast order only) However, chairs are very comfy, a server was nice, and place is clean.

  I am giving it a 2 star only because of poor customer service. I ordered breakfast for three people and ordered my coffee which was $4.05, I also asked if I could have heavy cream. The nice friendly female cashier said yes, then a younger? female who couldn't smile if her life depended on it, said no. I asked why and she said because they have to measure and account for everything. I asked if she could pretty please ask the kitchen, she then walked toward the kitchen and came back and again said no! I said I am only asking for 1 tablespoon, she said no again with such an attitude and walked away. If It had not been my last few hours in Edmonton and I wasn't with family, I would have cancelled my order and left and never come back. That was the worst customer service I have ever encountered. The only pleasant person was the female cashier that took my order on June 5. My bill was 31.00 and you would think they could spring for one tablespoon of cream. My advice, when a customer asks for something so simple , don't say no , thats a horrible reflection on your restaurant! What happened to customer satisfaction and common sense?
