Up until tonight this was one of my favorite restaurants. I have never experienced such a condescending manager before. When my order arrived it was incorrect. I phoned to inform them, after being placed on hold twice I was told there was nothing wrong with my order. Since we were stuck with our correct order along with hungry kids; we tried to make the most of it. After getting things dished up the pasta was cold, there was hardly enough sauce for 1/3 of the order (which we asked for on the side), the meatballs were burnt to the point they were black inside. Not once was I offered for my order to be replaced. Not once was there an apology. When I asked for a refund I was denied this as well. Why?Because there is nothing wrong with my order they got it correct. I have never experienced this kind of service from a restaurant before. I will not be ordering from or dining in this or any Chianti again.

Worst service I have had in over 5 years. Made a reservation two weeks in advance of Mothers day and the table was not ready when we got there. Reservation was for 5 adults and 3 children. Ordered our drinks had remind the waitress after 20 minutes to bring them. The one appetizer came in a timely fashion however after waiting 45 minutes for our meal we ask what was happening. The waitress said she would check and the manager came out and said they were real busy could I not see that and it was only 40 minutes, what he neglected to say is what the waitress told us that they had just started our meals. We all left and advised them we would never be back it does not matter how good the food is if they can not service you in a reasonable time. I can not recommend this restaurant to anyone after this experience ruined Mothers day for my whole family. Dave Schumacher

  • Great food. Nicely presented on your plate. Large portions so we had some to take home. Very quaint atmosphere and a affordable price!

  • I've been at Chianti's a few times in office lunches at this location, and a couple of times at the White ave location at night. I've always appreciated the service and good food. Some dishes have been very tasty, but some have lacked flavor significantly. I don't want to compare, but I think the bread provided as starter should come more often, like unlimited. Also, I agree with some of the people at my table, some pictures in the menu would really help with choices.
