  We are loyal mikados customers We like the food quality and the restaurant. We have been to all of the locations in the city and it was always good. In the last two weeks I visited the south common location twice although the the food was good and the quality is good too but their portions in this location is too small compared to the other ones that's the reason for the three starts review visit the west end location and you will definitely notice the deference in portions. Hope this review make the management on the south common revisit their portioning. Cheers

  Atrocious service. My friends and I tried to celebrate a birthday here recently. We made a reservation the day before, to ensure that we could have a room to be festive in. When we arrived at the restaurant, the staff told us that they double booked the room. They did not even apologize for their mistake, or for not calling us when they realized. The server was actually quite snotty about it. She made excuses, and even tried to blame us for their inability to properly make a reservation. I will never return to any Mikado. This was one of the worst customer service experiences that I have had in this country.

  This was a most distasteful experience. Ordered the bento box which was supposed to be teriyaki beef and chicken. The beef was tough and not trimmed of fat and sinew. The chicken was dark meat with skin and fat attached. Both were cold and not flavoured well. The salad was simply iceberg lettuce with little dressing or other veg. My cocktail was watery. Was very expensive for what you receive and the staff were grumpy. Disappointing.

  Went for a quick lunch while waiting for repairs on my cell phone. The Tuna sashimi was great and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Pricing was above average but due to the location I don't think anyone can complain. I recommend this place if you are looking for a great atmosphere.
