  My mom went to this sobeys for groceries and decided to buy lottery tickets while she was there. The clerk at the lottery counter was so rude and unprofessional. He said to her in a non joking way "Why do you bother buying the tickets? You're not going to win anyways. You're wasting your money." While you're at work you shouldn't be speaking to your customers in that way and keep your own negative personal opinions to yourself. How rude and unlucky to be saying that to someone when they're buying a lottery ticket. We will no longer go to this sobeys. I've never encountered such rudeness before while buying lottery... completely unacceptable.

  Staff here and constantly kind and helpful. the food is fresh and decently priced. I would recommend. it's my favorite place to shop

  I feel prices are still higher than Walmart or club superstore when buying any boxed item or packaged item. The quality of the fresh prepared food is good. Still have no idea who manages the organization of the food in these stores but it's way off. Good store overall just not the best.
