  We live nearby and absolutely love this place. In summertime, an early morning bike trip through campus or the river valley followed by their delicious omelettes is sure to brighten even a curmudgeons day. This place has a lively, quirky, local feel. Excited to see what the owner does with the space immediately to the west. On the weekends, they tend to be packed within 30 minutes of opening. The lineup moves at an acceptable pace but if you are impatient, plan to arrive when they open.

  The service was good, and our waitress was very kind and knowledgeable. The restaurant is located just around the corner from the famous High-level diner, and certainly maintains the atmosphere of most restaurants in the area, in that it caters to a very hipster esque university crowd. I found the space to be extremely crowded and noisy. So much so that my date and I were seated at a table which was in fact connected to another table with a couple who were also on a date. The effect being such that it seemed we were on a sort of awkward, accidental double date. Which forced my date and I to have to be within a hair's breadth of one another to even be able to be heard. Which if you've ever tried it, is extremely difficult from across a table filled with food and drink. Overall the food was good, though nothing to live up to the hype I'd heard about the establishment. I most likely would not return to this restaurant.

  So, this is just my favourite place to eat. For like the last ten years. Food A+, staff A+, background music A. Sometimes a good place to sit and read while simultaneously giving your body energy in delicious food form.
