  It's not the money but a matter of principle -- Tin Tin is DISHONEST!!!! Last Sunday, my husband and I went to Tin Tin to have lunch..we were surprised that the restaurant was so quiet, only one other table with a single customer. We ordered a fried rice and another dish with stuffed tofu, pepper and egg plant. Later, when the waiter delivered the dish it was only a dish of stuffed tofu and he immediately admitted that a mistake was made. I then asked him how much was the dish of stuffed tofu, he answered "it is 2 dollars less than the other dish with assortment of tofu, pepper and eggplant." So we accepted his mistake and did not ask him to replace the order. When the bill arrived, we were shocked to find out that it was $20.95 for that dish of tofu. The waiter then showed me the menu and pointed out that the charge was correct...he also said prices were different between take out and eat in. However, I pointed out to him that according to their other menu, the dish that we originally ordered was only $13.99, he then said because the stuffing has shrimp, it should be $2 more. Even so, the dish that we originally order should only be $15.99. Anyway, we didn't want to keep arguing with him so we paid and left. A few minutes later when we were driving home, I suddenly recalled that the waiter told us the tofu dish was actually $2 less..... Undoubtedly, we were being cheated! Although it was just a difference of $5 or $7, we felt that this kind of cheating behavior should not be encouraged. Apparently when we shared this bad experience with our friends, quite a few of them said they already learned of Tin Tin's cheating way and said they had ruined their own reputation. No wonder it was so quiet even during Sunday lunch...We will never go eat at this dishonest restaurant again!!!

  Great lunch specials Mon to Fri. Good size, good taste and very affordable. Service is quick.
