  This is my hangout spot when my friends and I want to have a cup of coffee and chat. It is usually pretty busy in the evenings, but if you are in a group of two or three people, you should be able to find a table quickly. Mid-morning and mid-afternoons are quieter. I love the multicultural vibe of clientele, Oliver district is made up of many nations. Bench seating along one wall accommodates larger groups, and you can push tables together along that wall. Wi-fi is free and it is fast enough to surf the web. I personally appreciate Second Cup blends over Starbucks as I am not into any fancy coffee drinks. I am happy with a simple dark roast and cream. They do carry your typical fancy frappes, etc. I am gluten free so I can't really comment on their treats expect to say they look mighty tempting. Baristas are very helpful and friendly. Only con: The washrooms need a huge overhaul. As I live close, I don't bother to use them.

  Great place! Great atmosphere also! I've never had an issue finding a place to sit, and the power outlets are plentiful! I love coming here to read or work on projects when I have time on my hands! I highly recommend this establishment!

  As soon as I entered, I felt overwhelmed. An employee was staring blankly at me when I walked in, and there wasnt really a proper lineup. Employees didnt seem to know what was going on. No one showed me where to pickup my almond drink, as it wasnt obvious. Drink was tasty, service lacked.
